The people are very friendly and give their time for free to help make our children better people. Fishing teaches our kids so much more then how to bait a hook. I highly recommend this organization.

These people are awesome they gives kids fishing rods and take them fishing they took my kids out on a boat taught them how to fish and taught my son how clean a fish and they cooked it on a grill on the boat it was so good !

Get Hooked is more than a charity. It's a way of life. I've been fishing since I was 4. It puts good food on the table, it gets you outdoors and becomes something the whole family can do Get Hooked, Take A Kid Fishing helps kids take that first step by providing gear they may not be able to afford and it's not just a summer thing. Set up a 5 gallon bucket in the yard and they will practice all year. I love this charity for what it does, the people involved and the kids.....after all, they are the future of this world. Do what you can, spread the word, donate but mostly, if you can, take a kid fishing. Lucky Updike. Ayden
